This is the first book in the Vampire Chronicle series. I really enjoy reading this book about the paranormal, and this was very interesting. Who would have guessed that applying for a job, getting attacked and then waking up to find out that you are mated to a vampire. They both went through so much to stay alive, fighting off attacks and attempted kidnapping. I can't wait to read the next book.Product details

Sometimes I really like Stormy Glenn's books, but this one just didn't do anything for me. Plot was weak, characters were flat. I've come to expect more than that from the author. Pretty disappointing.
This was a great short story. It would have made a great full story book. Too many stories are being written, with a focus on sex and losing the story line.
Love loved it it was great made my day and I laughed so much I hope there's more of that those two were sloooooooooow funny ty Stormy Glenn for making me laugh ..
I loved this story.. It was a brilliant mix of humor, passion and drama. The story was played perfectly by each character. The relationship between all the characters made the story interesting no matter who was intermingling. I loved it!!
Stormy Glenn is a good writer, but this was borderline horrible. This book is basically a setup to what is no doubt the rest of the series. And it reads like many of her paranormal series, there was no kick to make it any different.
This was a quick read. It was pretty cute story. Jon sounded lost and insecure at the beginning but later on sounded stronger and more confident.
I liked this book a lot. Jon is dealing with a lot of problems. He just got of college,can not find a job easily,staying with his sister and husband on their couch and a poor job market. He helped an elderly woman when she started to fall and missed a job interview. Nicolas is head of his coven and extremely well off. Jon went for a job interview and got attacked by Nikolas during the blood lust when they sent their mate. These two went through a lot of issues they had to deal with. But they did fall in love. I hope their is another book in this story line. Erin
