I love all Maeve Binchy's books. I read everything she ever wrote. She could never disappoint. She just had a way of bringing every character to life. You always feel like you know them, live in their neighborhood, see them on the street, drink in the same pub they frequent. I really miss waiting for her next book. I have been so happy to read the few books put together after her untimely death. You are sorely missed Maeve. You touched so many lives with your wonderful stories and characters and all the wisdom and lessons they imparted on so many. Read anything written by Maeve Binchy you'll get hooked.Product details

I liked this book even though it was not as long as I thought it should be. Dusty was smart to break up with Simon when she did.
I have loved Maeve Binchy ever since I can remember. She writes like she is talking to you only, clearly and honestly. Wonderful....just wish it was a longer story!
A great short story! Dusty seemed to be aware of everything at a very young age. She was so giving and she made the world a better place for everyone!!

I have always had a great passion for Maeve Binchy. This is a great short story. She has interesting characters and creative plots. This is not exception
Another interesting read from Maeve! What will the neighbors think? So many think this. Unfortunately, so many still think this. Dusty, a great character and a strong one. She brought it all home. Loved it!
Only this author can take a life of a character and reflect reality to the reader to so well. It is simply like stepping right into their life as you read the story. Well done.
Mave does it again. I am sad she passed I have read everything I can get my hands on in the USA. This is the story of someone who thinks her life is what she wants but when she goes home for the winter it changes her life. As always Mave Binchy is the premier storyteller we feel like we are reading about people we know and care about.
